Our Committee Structure is aligned to our Strategic Plan priorities and is designed so that decision-making is accountable, efficient and effective.

 

The Committees are:

COUNCIL

Meets the second Monday of every month. All 20 members.

COUNCIL (PLANNING)

Meets every three weeks on a Wednesday. All 20 members.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Meets every other month on a Wednesday. 9 members.

PROPERTY AND AMENITIES

Meets every other month on a Wednesday. 9 members.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Meets every other month on a Wednesday. 9 members.

STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKING GROUP

Meets up to 6 times per year. 8 members.

 

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING STEERING GROUP

Meets up to 12 times per year. 5-6 members plus around 4 external representatives.

 

COMMUNITY AWARDS PANEL

Meet as required. 4-5 members.

 

STAFFING PANEL

Meets as required. 5 members.

 

APPEALS PANEL

Meets as required. 5 members, who cannot be on staffing panel.

METHUEN HALL TRUST (Charity Reg. No. 222278)

Meets immediately after every Council Meeting. All 20 members.

ACCOUNTS SUB COMMITTEE

Meets before each Council Meeting. 4 members plus 2 reserves.
