John was the son of Thomas and Kate Jones and husband of Mary Jones.
He died of a heart attack, aged 43, after collapsing at a dance in Lacock. The Bath Chronicle
reported his passing in an article dated 18th January 1941.

This burial ground is the resting place for 22 servicemen who gave their lives on the First & Second World Wars. A number were men who had lived in the town or had family connections to the area.
