Corsham Town Council, along with MOD Corsham volunteers, will be planting 20 small fruit trees in the corner of Meriton Rec to create a new community orchard on 15 November.
The orchard will, eventually, provide free, locally-grown fruit (apples, pears, cherries, plums) for the benefit of residents as well as supporting wildlife and the environment.
For more information on the orchard, and other opportunities to volunteer and help with our environmental projects, please contact Garry Ford, the Town Council’s Environmental Project Officer at gford@corsham.gov.uk or call 07879 256191.
